Hive Group (Pty) Ltd, recently supplied two ladle pre-heat stations to Anglo Platinum,Waterval Smelter in Rustenburg, South-Africa.

The units were designed to cure the refractory as per the set program and to heat up the ladle’s to 1200 degree C before the molten platinum gets poured into the ladles.

The units are fitted with pneumatic cylinders to raise and lower the hoods for ease of placing the ladles into position. Burners : Eclipse TJ500 HV Flame failure : Veriflame Instruments : Eclipse & Dungs Temperature controller : RKC REX P300.
